To assist the Sales Manager in business development and be directly responsible for revenue generation from the Dubai territory. The Sales Executive will work towards achieving set targets on all core products. ( Air/ Sea/ Road freight services).
Manage assigned geographical sales area & product line to maximize sales revenues & coverage to meet monthly sales targets of 3 x cost to the company.
Develop prospective clients and make cold calls while servicing and growing existing clients.
Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients. Must be well-versed with products which will include Airfreight, Sea freight, Road freight and Warehousing.
Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and maintain a sales pipeline sheet.
Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity. · Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
Maintain sales kits and current product knowledge. · Respond to client inquiries in a timely manner.
Prepare quotations through Customer service / Sales coordinator & send onto clients. · Follow–up on quotations and close business, and if lost, then revert with reasons why.
On receiving confirmed business hand over to customer service with defined SOP’s wherever required.
Assist the credit control team to collect dues and outstanding amounts from clients within the allotted credit limit.
Meet the assigned monthly target of 3 x salary in GP. · To take decisions on markup rates based on the file rates.
To correspond with agents for securing rates which are not on file or for adhoc inquiries from customers.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree · Minimum three years of freight forwarding experience in Selling/Marketing of Air or Sea freight products in Dubai, UAE.

Identify new business opportunities and through developing existing and new business accounts. Maintain an active new business prospect listing to approach and present to the company. Undertake new business sales calls to win new business. Develop financial supporting data and process data to potential and existing business wins. Responsible in maintaining existing customer database through regular sales visits Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop new business for the company through approaching new business customers, as defined on sales KPIs.
Develop a new business prospect listing to ensure that future new business development is planned in advance.
Responsible for the management and handling of the RFQ response documents coming to the company for Air Freight Logistics Business.
Maintain all accounts and new business approaches and outcomes in C-view.
Generate and distribute specific reports as required in alignment with the position.
Coordinate and follow and follow up x-selling activities within the department.
Maintain close working relationships with the Customer Service, Operations and Air Freight Logistics team.
Focus on winning and keeping profitable business.
Develop and maintain Capex procedures as per policy for RFQ and new business submissions.
Maintain and manage the financial forecast and cost module projections for new business submission.
Work with logistics engineers in development of Resources Planning.
Undertake regional presentations for the Air Freight Logistics Division, as and when called upon
Undertake cross selling and up-selling within existing customer base to further develop account potential through airfreight, sea freight, road freight, value added products and air freight logistics.
Manage and coordinate all commercial activities of a defined vertical group of customers with the customer service team, in line with the company’s short and long term results & targets.
Undertake sales presentations to customers and business communities to present to the company and its products and services.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred. (Or an equivalent combination of work and education. / equivalent combination of work experience)
Minimum five years industry experience preferred
